Facts Tell, Stories Sell: Crafting Your 3 Purium Stories with Confidence
“One thing I know for sure—when a Brand Partner has something authentic to say, they talk to more people with confidence and excitement.”
— Leslie Zann
Welcome to your next growth edge as a leader and messenger of transformation.
In this team training session from Grow Your Purium Business with Leslie Zann, we’re diving into one of the most powerful tools in your Purium toolkit: your story.
You’ve probably heard the phrase:
🧠 Facts tell. But stories? Stories sell.
But here’s what that really means:
Facts build credibility.
Authentic stories build connection.
And connection leads to action.
If you want to grow your business, help more people say “yes,” and feel grounded every time you speak—your stories are key.

🛠 THE THREE STORIES EVERY BRAND PARTNER NEEDS
Whether you’re just starting out or evolving into a seasoned leader, you want to have these three stories ready and real:
Your Product Story
Your Business + WHY Story
Your Company Story
Let’s break each one down 👇
💚 1. Your Product Story
Keep it short. Keep it human. Keep it real.
📏 30–60 seconds max.
🎤 Speak how you talk, not how you write.
Your structure:
How did you hear about the program?
What products did you start with?
What were you struggling with? (Brain fog, sleep, hormones, digestion, mood, etc.)
What shifted—and how quickly?
Ex:
“I started on a superfood program because I was totally depleted—brain fog, cravings, and not sleeping well after becoming a mom. In just 3 weeks, I noticed my energy bouncing back. I could think clearly again, and I actually slept through the night. That’s when I knew I had to share this.”
📸 Bonus: A before/after photo or quick visual can amplify your impact.
🔑 Social Media Tip:
When sharing your stories online, avoid naming the company directly.
Use phrases like:
“my green drink”
“my nutrition program”
“my at-home business”
“this mama-focused lifestyle shift”
This builds curiosity, keeps people engaged, and invites genuine conversations.
Plus, it helps ensure they come through you and receive the community and mentorship that makes this so special.
💼 2. Your Business + WHY Story
Even if you’re brand new—you have a business story.
And at the heart of it is your WHY—the reason you said yes.
Use this simple outline to find your words:
What do you do and for how long?
What do you love about it?
What’s been hard or misaligned?
Why did you say yes to this opportunity?
How do you want this business to support your lifestyle, family, and dreams?
Ex:
“I’ve been a teacher for 6 years. I love working with kids and making a difference—but the truth is, the hours are long, the pay doesn’t match the impact, and I’ve barely seen my own children. That’s why I started this at-home wellness business. I want to create more time freedom and retire earlier than I ever imagined—while still helping people live their best lives.”
🌱 Your WHY story taps into something deeper—
💬 What do you want your life to feel like?
What legacy are you building?
What do you want to model for your kids or your community?
💡 Tip: Start earning Fast Start bonuses—they give you a tangible story from day one.
🎤 And don’t be afraid to borrow stories from your upline/community until yours grows!
🌎 3. Your Company Story
This is where you share why this company.
Why you trusted it, why you aligned with it, and why you keep showing up for it.
Highlight what inspired you to say yes:
Co-founders Dave Sandoval + Amy Venner with decades of passion and purpose
20+ years of clean, proven products
In-house manufacturing and control of quality
Focus on glyphosate detox and regenerative health
Sustainable, plant-based packaging
A comp plan that rewards impact
And most importantly… a heart-centered community that lifts people up
Ex:
“I chose this company because it’s not just a product—it’s a movement. The co-founders care deeply about families, farmers, and the future of our food system. We’re not just selling shakes—we’re regenerating lives and the planet. That’s something I’m proud to be a part of. I’m not just building a business—I’m aligning with a mission I believe in.”
🔁 Refresh + Refine
As you grow, so do your stories.
Revisit them often. Let them evolve as your journey does.
📌 Pro Tip: Practice saying them out loud with a friend or mentor.
Record yourself. Listen back. Make it conversational. Make it you.
And remember:
“When you have something real to say, you talk to more people.
When you talk to more people, you help more people.
And when you help more people—you grow.”
