🎯 Choose Your Target Market
An Authentic Approach to Identifying a Duplicatable Target Market for You & Your Team
“You can’t compete with someone who is having fun.” — Tiago Forte
I love selling — because selling, when done with heart and integrity, is simply solving problems.
When we reframe selling this way, everything changes.
Selling stops feeling pushy or awkward and starts feeling powerful.
It becomes an act of service — helping someone move from pain to possibility, from burnout to balance, from confusion to clarity.
This is what we do every day through our products, our coaching, and our stories.
When you know who you’re serving, why you’re serving them, and how your solutions make their life better —
business stops feeling like “selling” and starts feeling like purpose.
This training will help you and your team:
Identify your authentic target market
Choose your hero product or solution
Create a simple, clear message that duplicates
1️⃣ We Don’t Sell Commodities — We Sell Solutions
Toothpaste, paper towels, soda — these are commodities.
They don’t require education, storytelling, or trust.
Purium isn’t a commodity.
We offer solutions to real problems — energy crashes, gut issues, brain fog, hormonal imbalance, stress, sleep, burnout, and more.
Our job isn’t to convince anyone.
Our job is to connect with the people who are already looking for what we offer.
💡 Example:
Instead of saying, “Who wants to buy superfoods?”
Try: “I help busy moms who feel burned out regain their energy and peace of mind using simple, whole-food solutions.”
2️⃣ What is Attraction Marketing?
Attraction Marketing = Authentically promoting solutions to specific problems through your personal brand (or community).
It’s built on three pillars:
Attract: Let your best prospects show interest
Influence: Earn their trust through value and education
Enroll: Serve them by guiding them to the next step
💬 Example Flow:
You post about how you stopped drinking caffeine all day by nourishing your adrenals naturally → someone comments “I need this!” → you open a conversation → you recommend a low-stress energy protocol (e.g., Core 4 + kids in focus, ULT + Cant beet This!, or Brain Kit).
3️⃣ YOU, Inc.
Your brand = Your community + trust + influence.
People join YOU, not your company.
Think of yourself as YOU, Inc. — a trusted guide solving a specific problem for a specific kind of person.
💡 Instead of:
“I sell Purium superfoods.”
Try:
“I help women in their 30s and 40s rebalance their hormones, regain their focus, and feel like themselves again — without dieting or synthetic supplements.”
4️⃣ How to Define Your Target Market
Here’s your framework:
I help [target] who [primary problem] and [primary desire].
✅ Examples:
“I help stay-at-home moms who feel exhausted and overwhelmed rebuild their energy naturally so they can show up fully for their families.”
“I help high-performing women in their 40s reduce cortisol and brain fog with a simple morning ritual that keeps them clear and energized all day.”
“I help parents who want to raise toxin-free kids find safe, natural solutions that support their whole family’s health.”
✨ Bonus Tip: Your target market should feel like you, a few years ago (before you found Purium and the gap it closed for you)
If you were your own ideal customer, what were you searching for back then? What were you frustrated about? What did you dream of?
5️⃣ Choose Your Hero Product
Now, connect your target market to a single hero product or pack that directly solves their problem.
💚 Examples:
6️⃣ Craft Your Product Story
Your story is your most powerful sales tool.
Prompt:
What attracted you to the product?
What was life like before?
What results or shifts did you experience after?
What does life feel like now?
💬 Example:
“Before Purium, I relied on coffee to get through the day. My energy was up and down, and I felt like I was barely holding it together. Once I started the ULT my energy became stable, my mood lifted, and I finally had fuel that supported me — not just woke me up. Now I help other moms experience the same transformation.”
Turn this into your I Show Statement:
“I show overwhelmed moms how I restored my energy and peace of mind without coffee or crash diets.”
7️⃣ Understand Problems vs Dreams
Behind every surface-level problem is an emotional desire.
💭 Speak to the emotion, not the feature.
Example: “You deserve to feel calm, present, and fully alive — not like you’re running on empty.”
8️⃣ Practice Your “I Help” Statement
Take 5 minutes with your team and fill this in:
I help [target] who [problem] and [desire].
I show [target] how I [overcame problem] and [achieved benefit] without [painful alternative].
💬 Examples:
“I help women with postpartum anxiety rebuild energy and calm with simple whole-food rituals.”
“I show busy professionals how I overcame burnout and found sustainable focus without caffeine or meds.”
9️⃣ Share + Duplicate
Once each team member has their:
✅ Target Market
✅ Hero Product
✅ Personal Story
✅ “I Help” Statement
👉 Share it with your mentor! This becomes the foundation for:
Social media bios
Reels & educational content
Message & follow-ups
New team member onboarding
✨ Team Challenge
Step 1: Choose your target market
Step 2: Write your “I help” statement
Step 3: Identify your hero product
Step 4: Share your story in the group
Step 5: Create a post or reel serving that audience
📲 Example Prompt:
🎥 Reel: “What I wish every [target market] knew about [problem]”
🗣️ Caption: “I help [target market] who [problem] and [desire]. Drop a 🌿 if that’s you.”
