Finish Strong: Month-End Momentum with Leslie Zann & Michelle Boersma

Theme: Purposeful closing, personal leadership, and duplicatable month-end habits.
Vibe: Calm focus, zero desperation, high service.

The Heart of the Call

On September 30, leadership coach Leslie Zann and Two-Star Crown Michelle Boersma shared simple, duplicatable month-end habits. The message: choose your energy, close with purpose, and let momentum carry into next month. Miracles happen at month end—when you’re intentional.

“We are farmers, not hunters. Nothing grows if we don’t plant it.” —Michelle

Month-End Sprint Checklist (30–90 minutes)

1) Non-negotiables

  • Smart Order: You + every Brand Partner have ≥50 BV on file before close.

  • Know your cutoff: Per the call, Purium month end closes 10:00 PM Pacific
(11:00 PM Mountain / 12:00 AM Central / 1:00 AM Eastern). Set alarms.

2) Scout the back office (Team Reports)

  • Unilevel → K-Club

    • Customer K-Club: every 1,000 points = $25 bonus

    • Brand Partner K-Club: every 1,000 points = $40 bonus

    • Look for small gaps (e.g., $980) and close them.

  • UBT Promos

    • 3 ULTs in a week qualifies a UBT (called out as 1,250 points on the call chat).

    • Who on your team has 1–2 UBTs already? Who’s close?

3) Prioritize live connection

  • Pick up the phone. No mass texts. People read texts in their current mood.

  • Call inactive customers: “How did you feel then? How do you feel now? Ready for a fresh start?”

  • Ask for referrals (dignify their community):
“Who do you know who wants better sleep, digestion, or stress resilience?”

4) Create a gentle incentive (no desperation)

  • “Month-End Thank-You”: small gift with purchase, a few rewards points on their next order, or a personal bonus you choose.

5) Empower with 3-way chats

  • New partner has interest? Connect them tonight with your upline mentor.

  • Be available for your team. Duplication loves proximity.

6) Close with gratitude

  • Every call plants a seed. Some sprout tonight; others in two weeks. Your job is to plant.

Scripts You Can Copy

Reactivation (past customer)
“Hey [Name], thinking of you! You felt amazing when you were on your superfoods—how are you feeling now? New month starts tonight and I’m doing a simple re-set group. Want me to plug you in and take care of the cart for you?”

Warm Prospect (on the fence)
“Hey [Name], you’ve shared you want better energy + calmer stress. I’m doing a quiet month-end thank-you tonight—small gift with purchase—and a guided reset that starts Day 1 of the month. Want me to set you up?”

Referral Ask (happy customer)
“You’ve had such great sleep & focus—so proud of you. If two friends come to mind who’d love these results, I’ll take great care of them. I’m also gifting you a little thank-you when someone starts the ULT tonight. Who pops into your mind?”

3-Way Chat Setup (new partner)
“You don’t have to know everything. I’ll connect you with my mentor now. We’ll listen, serve, and make it easy for your friend to get started.”

The Power Stories

Michelle’s Green Diamond push
Last day of month. Needed 7,000 points. She rallied her team, a brand-new partner enrolled 10 ULTs in a day, Michelle enrolled 4 after 5 PM, and together they crossed the line. Lesson: ask who wants to run; don’t take your foot off the gas.

Leslie’s “Maui muscle memory”
Far from qualifying on the final day, she called her sponsor, made a plan, and finished at 11:59 PM—and two leaders qualified with her. Lesson: treat every month end like something big is at stake so you build the muscle memory to lead under pressure.

If You’ve Already Hit Your Goal…

Don’t settle. Leslie’s rule:

  • 5 more calls

  • 5 more follow-ups

  • Ask 5 people for referrals
You’re filling the funnel and training your “closer” muscle for next time.

Mindset that Multiplies

  • Service over fear: Think about them more than yourself.

  • Phone > text: Energy transfers through voice.

  • Farmers, not hunters: Plant daily, harvest monthly.

  • Gratitude state: Close calm. Desperation repels.

  • Duplication: Your example is the training.

Personal Development: Leslie’s Top 3

  1. Daily I Ching practice (simple edition; 3 coins, notebook)
Cultivates gratitude, patience, equanimity, humility, acceptance.

  2. Self-talk audit
Catch “I can’t / I always mess up” loops. Choose language that builds courage and ownership.

  3. 30 minutes every day
If you knew 30 minutes would change your life and business, you’d make it non-negotiable. Morning is ideal—carry the energy.

60-Minute Month-End Power Block (timer on)

  • 10 min: Smart orders + alarms for cutoff

  • 15 min: Back office scan (K-Club gaps, UBT candidates)

  • 25 min: Calls (reactivation, fence-sitters, referrals)

  • 10 min: 3-way chats + carts

Repeat once if you have time.

Team Huddle Template (drop in your chat)

  • Cutoff times (10 PM PT / 11 PM MT / 12 AM CT / 1 AM ET)

  • Your team’s K-Club gaps + who owns them

  • UBT board: who’s at 1–2 and running

  • Call sprint: 30 mins live dials

  • 3-way chat coverage: name your on-call leaders

  • Gratitude share: 1 win, 1 lesson, 1 next seed to plant

Closing Thought

“Month-end is a trained skill. When you learn to close with purpose—and teach it—your team stops ‘letting the month close organically’ and starts leading it.”
